Things to Do
The Summer Celebration of Vernon Hills is a community-wide festival held every year in the beautiful Century Park. Offering 113 acres of outdoor wonder, the festival brings live music, incredible food, a carnival, an antique car show, and karaoke to town for one night over the summer.
Century Park Arboretum is the district’s largest park and features two lakes, 2.5 miles of walking paths, playgrounds, volleyball and basketball courts, athletic fields, and a huge picnic area. It’s Vernon Hills’ go-to destination for the whole family during the summer and a can’t-miss spot for outdoor ice skating during the winter.
